  2. absolutely! In fact, I’d argue that your numbers were NORMAL. Most Oly liferts have relatively weak upper bodies when compared to their leg and back strength. In fact, it’s one of the reasons I switched from powerlifting to olympic lifting. I was good at squats and deadlifts, but my bench was nothing special. In Olympic weightlifting, it ain’t no thang to have an upper body that is just there for looks Of course, you need SOME strength, but the lifts involve NO pressing whatsoever. The jerk is a leg exercise, not an arm exercise.
